What's new

See you in TWO weeks. A pile of shaving gear packed for the great outdoors! [PICS]

Wow... two weeks with no internet/Badger & Blade action. It WILL be tough.

I have packed a plethora of choice soaps, razors and brushes though to make my annual trip to a northern Ontario lake a fantastic shaving experience! I am taking a slant (of course!) and my EJ89 and I'm going to shave in the early morning fog while sitting on the edge of the dock with my feet hanging in the water of a lake so pristine it's hard to describe. I've been looking forward to this for a while now. I prefer cold water shaving so this should be surreal.

This lake. This dock. This atmosphere. It's going to be fannnnntastic!

I'm going to also take this opportunity to try and induct my brother-in-law into this highly enjoyable thing of ours. (See here for details of the rig I've made for him)

I will take pics and post them when I return. Until then... happy shaving all. Keep the Internet warm for me :)

Cheers,

Ace

Thankfully they are all gone up there by end of June/early July. Mosquitos are bad in the evenings for a little bit though. I'm hoping the Bay Rum will keep them at bay!

Let us know if the black flies prefer any particular soap, cream, or after shave.
