Im using the focus at the moment. Ive been getting either BBS or DFS from it using personna blades. I love a shake sharp but so far all Ive found are just too much money for me.

There are actually two Bakelite versions, one with a loose top cap, and one which is hinged . The earlier loose cap version is unique and for me the more desirable because it easily accommodates two stacked blades. The hinged cap version as for as I can tell shares the same head with the later gold and chrome models as can be seen below.

Focus Dynamic for me as well. Love this thing!
Mark Cross (Proline injector) vs. Mark Cross (Supermax DE). Edge to the Proline but the half DE, which requires two shims, comes surprisingly close. Both brilliant.
I trimmed the tabs on a Feather DE blade, bent it and put it in a 1912 this morning. It worked fine, although there was less wiggle room available for making sure it was aligned properly behind the blade stops.
Not going to make a habit of it though, I still prefer a proper gem blade.
