Schick Injectors questions

I have a few questions for the SE Injector experts.

Am I right in thinking that:

1 - the Schick Type E has the bakelite handle, and the Type G has a plastic handle with a seam? Is this always true?
2 - The Type G spring is usually hard to twist to the side to open the head for cleaning, but it still must be cleaned and is not intended to not be opened?
3 - The Type E is slightly more aggressive than the Type G, which is slightly more aggressive than the Type L?

Thanks!

Your #1 is correct. The G type marks the Eversharp ownership transfer in 1946 and since then the handles are plastic with a seam. Schicks made in Canada around that time confuse the issue somewhat.
Your #2 - only the earlier type E models are designed to have the head opened for cleaning. Otherwise, you have to use force to pry open, and that usually results iin damage. Non of the later Schick has their head open, so obviously, Schick did not think this is a serious issue. The Schicks cannot be autoclaved, but ultrasonic bath with a good dish detergent usually accomplishes a great deal of cleaning.
For your #3, the E and G are more aggressive than the J, L, and N, but all of them provide close and easy shave. I am getting the best results with a L or N models in which a Schick II blade is mounted.

Thanks for your help. I have a Type E, G, and L, and actually have two what I believe are Type L's - they look the same except one has the typical long black handle, but the other has a short black handle. Both are nice, mild shavers. But the Type E and G are only slightly more aggresive and also provide good shaves. I've enjoyed trying all of these injectors.
