Thanks for the link. The patent numbers do match the type G. Not sure if it can be pinned down to a G1 though since that site says the G1 has a molded plastic handle with a seam and this one has a bakelite handle.
In the alphabetic letter Schick classification system, as described in the link above, the "G" are all plastic Molded and were produced after the overtake of Schick by Eversharp in 1946. The bakelite handles associate with "E" series. They continued to make bakelite handles for a while longer in the Canada plant though.
