Schick band

So recently I won an ebay auction for a Schick Band Injector. I only bought it because it was super cheap. I think 7 dollar shipped. Obviously I can't just swap the blade in and out. Is there any modern way to change the head? Or do I need ot keep searching for vintage ones? And how long does one head last?

Keep looking you will find one eventually. I have a gillette band razor and was able to grab 5 NOS refills for pretty cheap just have to look everyday.

+1 to Gary's analysis: the Schick (and Gillette, for that matter) band razors will only accept THEIR respective carts--you can't even sub in one for the other. They are around, but getting less and less with every passing shave...

I thought one of them was interchangeable with the other, as in the Schick cartridge could be used on the Gillette handle?
