Scent that most people seem to love but you just don't care for?

For me it's sandalwood. Since everyone seems to love it, I picked up a tube of Proraso red and just don't care for the smell. I will be using it for superlathers instead and will not buy again. How about you guys?

I'm not all that crazy about menthol, but that is mostly because i use it so often for medicinal purposes.

Other than that I really can't answer your question, since most scents, lightly applied, are fine with me--and most scents over applied, offend me. That is, when I smell them on other people.

But there are scents that seem fine on other people that I simply can't stand on myself--actually most of them. My particular body chemistry only works with very few scents, as far as I'm concerned.

When I first started wet shaving not too long ago I also didn't care for anything lavender and bay rum but they have sorta grown on me now. I am really interested in something vanilla if anyone knows of a good soap.

Arko, sandalwood, patchouli (fine in trace amounts hidden behind mor prominent scents), and rose.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone that enjoyed the smell of pachouli. Are there any well known soaps that has a dominant pachouli smell?

Almond is a general smell that has been mentioned already that I just don't care for but is a very common scent for creams and soaps.

Avocado for me! Just makes me hungry haha.. I got a sampler of the ToBS version and just ate after each shave lol

I know people are going to disagree, but sandalwood simply doesn't appeal to me. I don't know why, but it doesn't trike me as much "manly" as it does "cabin", and I just can't enjoy that. But, to each their own.
