What's new

Saphora

Saphora just opened up here in Fashion Place mall in Salt Lake they carry several lines of shaving creams I've got samples of several, Art Of Shaving Sandlewood they had unscented and lavender also, Jack Black Shaving cream and I got samples of Zirh cream and Zirh gel, they had a Jack Black brush Synthetic Badger 85$

I shaved tonight with the zirh gel and got basically a pleasent smelling slick but uneventful shave

also at the mall CO Bigalo, the body shop maca cream and aveda had a cream also

Saphora has an online store with a few brushes and several lines of men's products

Pretty sure it's Sephora, not Saphora.

They have lots of colognes, but not much in the way of shave gear that would be interesting to most wetshavers.

I'm the world's worst speller so it just might be Sephora LOL I was suprised at how much wet shaving stuff they had at least 5 different creams and they give samples to boot

tons of wet shaving supplies at mine  and as previosly stated 3 other stores in the mall with wet shaving creams

I agree they are limited in the shaving area. I bought Zirh Prepare, the pre-shave oil, and it works but I found it overpriced ($18 for 1 oz) even if you only use 4 or 5 drops.

I'd stick to CO Bigelow, too bad that in my local Bath and Body Works store stopped selling CO Bigelow aftershaves, pre shave oils and body washes....and only have that amazing menthol shaving cream, their colognes and body sprays.

Their colognes are amazing, and their samples are great.

I really don't like any wet shaving items found at B&M stores. Proraso is an exception, and people love AoS, but more expensive American shaving items (Zirh, Anthony Logistic, Jack Black) just don't interest me, or perform like traditional wet shaving stuff. YMMV, but take advantage of their samples before you buy.

Sephora's NYC 34th st shop is 2 blocks from me so it's convenient - they have a better-than-average after-shave balm called Cool-Fix that's real nice.

Not sure what your local is, but the Bath and Body at Rivertown in Grand Rapids, MI doesn't have aftershave or preshave oil anymore either. And I'm pretty sure it's a recent development.

Yeah I have visited several B&BW locations this weekend in the StL area and all of them big and small stores dont carry much of anything. C&O Big small tubes for $5 (OVERPRICED) and colognes and thats about it. Sad.

Anthony s ASB is a winner, but at $19 somewhat pricey. :001_smile

The pre-shave oil, IMHO, was too thick even if just a few drops were used.
