Sad Situation Resolved

A few months ago a pipe broke in my master bath which flooded my bedroom and rendered my bedroom, bathroom and shave den unusable. To add insult to injury, I had to share a bathroom with my 16 year old daughter. Due to the hurricanes and the demand for home repair work, I ended up having to wait almost 9 months before everything could be repaired. The work was extensive and the waiting list for work was long.

This past Friday I came home to my completed bedroom, bathroom and my shave den. I promptly moved out of my daughters bathroom and the small guest room. Take a wild guess what I did next?

I am still basking in the feeling of being back in my bedroom and shaving in my newly remodeled shave den.

Why am I posting this? Because, of all the people I know, all of you reading this completely understand.

Do you think it was more traumatic for you or your daughter?

At least she now should be completely aware that the Axe crap the highschool kids wear really smells like $h!t

If my daughter was 16, I know this would be harder on her.

Come to think of it, I could spread my things over to her bathroom just to irritate her.

I would catch her smelling my soaps and I believe she used some of them as a bath soap a time or two. But yes, it was traumatic for her too and a touch more expensive for me. She now insists on bath soaps from Frenchsoaps and The Gentleman's Quarter. No more Dove and Tone.

Should have told her that Shave soaps contain chemicals to stimulate hair growth. She'd never touch them again.

Congrats on your triumphant return to The Shave Den!

Hopefully, that will influence her to date men of character.

Truly evil. I applaud you, sir, for your quick thinking!
