Bought some T&H West Indian Lime cream and Almond cream at a good discount from a local store. Smelled great out of the tub, but I noticed once I got it home and went to use the Lime it had a very runny consistency to it. If I tilt the tub from one side to the other, the top quarter to half inch of the cream will slowly slosh down to the lower side. Almond, on the other hand, was very, very dry when I got it, and after some rehydration may now be a little too runny as well.
My question is twofold. 1) I have the 1805 and Grafton creams, both of which are gorgeous, thick, pretty creams with a definite "mass" to them, and will not run or dribble for any amount of coaxing. I assume this is the "right" consistency for T&H creams, correct? 2) Is there any way to dehydrate creams? If not, should I contact T&H about getting them replaced as a bad batch? All advice welcome and appreciated. Thanks!
