I haven't done a brush restoration in a long time but I bought this Rubberset handle from member "facetime" back in December (thanks again for a good deal on a nice handle Facetime!), it had just been sitting in a box.
Finally got around to it recently and it actually wasn't even a real restoration, just a re-knot. The handle was in excellent shape, I just did a little sanding on the bottom of it.
Knot drilled out easily, and left a nice flat shelf for me. I put a 22mm super badger fan knot from The Golden Nib into it. It's a great knot, their 2 band finest is still my favorite but I already have a couple of those and wanted something different.
Made a matching Gold Dollar razor to go with it.
It ended up being a pretty nice brush, now I need to get around to a couple other handles I have had sitting around for way too long.
