Rorschuck MIA - Attention: See Post #35

Anyone know how to get ahold of Rorschuck? I put in an order from him a couple of weeks ago, heard back right away regarding clarification he needed but have not received any response to my reply to his email... His mailbox here is full and his website does not list any contact info. He has charged my paypal account but my order on the website is still listed as "pending"!

Thoughts/ideas?

I've had orders in with Chuck before that have taken some time to get through as well. i don't think he always has a reliable internet connection.

however, i've always gotten my order from him and he has, even unneccisarily so, made up for it 10 fold.

Yeah, I don't doubt his integrity, what worries me is that I feel he may never get the message I sent and there is no other way to contact him. Plus I really want my decants!

I just got an order from him. It was delayed a bit but he made up for it with some extra samples. He is good for it.

Like everyone else here has stated, you will not get taken by Rorschuck. My order took a bit longer than I expected it to but it did arrive, along with an email shortly after expressing his apologizes for the wait and a few extra decants. Its funny really, the extras he sent me have become my absolute favorites.

I am sure he will show up eventually. This has happened before. He is worth the wait to me, but I can understand why others might not be as sanguine.

Guys, I emailed him last week (ten days ago?) and have yet to receive a response. Never having dealt with him myself, I can't advise you how to address his absence. Personally, however, I'd investigate the steps required to get my money back.

I am about ready to do that. Payment was made through Paypal, so I suppose I am protected...? Never had to try this before.

Yeah I have never tried to get my money back either from Paypal, but I am going to attempt the process this time. Its been a little over a month from me.
I'm sure he is a good guy, but a nice chunk of change was spent for which I have received nothing.

I emailed him with some questions a few weeks ago and still have not gotten a response. Its a shame, he has many fragrances id like to try and his prices are very reasonable.

Anyone try looking up his phone number? Seems like he has a distinctive enough name. I forget where he lives exactly, but that should not be too hard to track down. Or maybe you could track down where he works and call him at work. He is a computer programmer type, as I recall. I do not know whether he is with a consulting firm or a regular company, but would not be surprised if the former. He does go 24-7 for insane lengths of time when his regular work gets busy, I know that.

I am sure he is good for all of this. He is truly a great and generous guy, who at the end of the day has been extremely reliable for my purposes. He has disappeared before and has always come back. I certainly understand folks frustration and unease, however, and there is no way I can defend the lack of communications and generally unbusinesslike approach. I am sure he makes nothing selling decants and he has been so generous in making up for any glitches like these in the past that I am sure he is subsidizes the "business."

Still none of that is defensible.
