Tried to search it out, with no quick hits. Does anyone have experience with the 2/1. It shows specs on Vintage Blades that its loft is a little higher than the 3/1. How does the characteristics 2/1 compare to the 3/1.

I love the 2/1 both in terms of aesthetics as well as function. because the knots of the Rooney's are so dense the 22 ml knot with the loft makes it an extremely good brush for any and everything. I had the styles 1,2 & 3 in super and traded off the 3/1 because the 2/1 can do it better.
I have a 2/1 (Ht 107, Handle 55, Loft 52, Knot 22) but unfortunately can't compare it to any other Rooneys. That said I also have a custom Shavemac silvertip (Ht 110, Handle 48, Loft 62, Knot 23). As much as I love my 'mac, I invariably recommend the 2/1 Rooney as a "do it all" best bet for someone looking for their first real nice badger brush. You really can't go wrong with it

Thanks for the pics and the info. I have one on the way. Thanks Now to save up For a Savile Row 3320 and I will be done buying razors and brushes.
