Rooney 2/1

I just ordered a Rooney 2/1 Finest from Vintage Blades. I was originally going for the 3/2 on Jim's reccomendation. I have a DB scuttle 1.5X size and wanted something bigger. Then I was reading the Leisureguy's Guide to Gourmet Shaving and he said that the 2/1 was his favorite. Since the measurments we're very similar, I decided on the 2/1 and saved a few bucks. I'm excited to give it a try!

It's a wonderful brush, I've got one with the faux horn handle that I've had for a while, I don't think VB even sells that handle in finest any longer. Great brush, one of my all time favorites. Best of luck with it.

Love my 2/1 in super. Mine has a shorter loft than most though (my preference)

I, too, took Leisureguy's advice and got one in Finest. It was excellent. His has what looks to be a long loft, and I expressly asked for and got a shorter one. Great all-around lather producer.

I have one in faux-horn my own self. Best all-around brush I have ever had.

update: I got the brush and it is awesome! It whips up tons of lather in no time.

The 2/1 in finest is one of the best brushes made. I really like mine and find it holds its own with brushes costing much more.

I also have a 2/1 in Super. It's my only brush and I can't imagine using anything else. I tried several brushes from different makers and I even tried a 3/1 last week and nothing compares to my 2/1 Super. Congratulations on your Finest. It should give you years of pleasure.

I have the 2/1 finest also, and it gets even better after a few shaves
