I had Duro a long time ago. It didn't do much, if at anything, for me.

A reply a decade later...I got a sample from Barney's in Seattle. It's a great scent, sample it if you can. It's easier to wear than Black Afgano, which has a very mysterious, dark, and complex fragrance, but I wonder when exactly I could wear it. I found Absinthe to be much more mainstream but still very compelling. Lucky Scents has decants you can try, or if you are near Barney's they have a great array of niche frags like Nasomatto and Byredo. Chat them up a bit and you'll end up with a few samples.
Great review, I'll have to check this one out. I really like BA and Duro from the house. I own Montale's Aoud Musk, which smells so similar to Duro that I can't see buying a bottle of Duro.
By the way, I just put 2 and 2 together - I never realized you were Maximilian from the Maximilian Must Know videos! I really enjoy your videos! Keep up the great work.
