Rescued a Rocket

Found this Canadian Rocket in a small town antique store last week

The case is complete, no cracks but faded and the clear cover has yellowed andis hazy

The razor is in nice condition..this is how I found it

A quick cleaning and polishing and it came out looking almost new

One of my favorite razors, an Aristocrat Junior

Tried to clean/polish the clear top of the case..it looks a bit better

And with its twin, a previous rescue from the Canadian wilds

Maybe try some of the "Headlight Restore" products on the hazy lid?

I rescued the exact same one here in Wpg last year, with case.

some of the wet sanding pads from LeeValley and some plastic polish brings the shine back to new.

Nice pickup.
