Is this a Canadian Deluxe Rocket

Hi all,

Many years ago I bought a razor and case (original post with quite a few pictures from 2016 here: Gold Rockets - Help Identifying Cases - https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/threads/gold-rockets-help-identifying-cases.478184/#post-7926142). It was at an estate sale if I remember correctly and the razor seems practically unused, giving me the impression that the razor/case is a match but I've always had trouble identifying it. The case says is marked for Gillette Canada in Montreal but the case itself was made in the USA. The razor is a gold rocket and says it was made in England. For a long time I thought I had a mismatched set but recently I have seen some posts (Rare Gold Rocket & Case - https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/media/rare-gold-rocket-case.72387/ and Gillette Canadian Rocket TTO timeline - https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/threads/gillette-canadian-rocket-tto-timeline.573582/post-10359976) that look very similar (slight difference in case pattern) Even though the razor fits very well in the case, there has always been a little gap at the end of the handle relative to the plastic case that concerned me, but I see it is present in the first recent example I found.

Just curious if anyone has any thoughts. Is this a Canadian Deluxe Rocket or a mismatch case and razor?

Could be a case for a Super Speed or the Deluxe Rocket but your razor is a regular Rocket (has the gap above the TTO knob).
That style of Rocket is shorter by a few millimeters than the crimped US style mechanism and would leave that case gap.

I thought the Deluxe Rocket did not have made in England stamped in the base.
The Deluxe looks like a gold Super Speed. USA made? Canada didn't manufacture TTOs.
