Removing Used Blades from Blade Case (?)

Hey,

I have a couple of old plastic gillette blade cases with used blades in their proper used blade slot on the back-side of the blade case.

I want to pry them out of there and clean up the blade cases --get them back to looking more or less new.

Has anyone ever attempted prying used blades out of the used blade slot?

What is the best way to do it?

I have this style blade case:

Will do. Good idea about the magnet. I like having the blade cases but don't necessarily want to be keeping someone else's used blades.

In case anyone ever finds themselves wanting to remove the used blades it's very easy.

The metal plate on the back-side of the blade case pops out with ease. You can then simply and carefully remove the old blades with the tweezers and some gloves on.

Nice. I would think that those old blades would still be sharp enough to use for any crafts or hobby's. Or at least for scrapping off windows of old paint, etc.
