Red Stag Black Cherry Bourbon by Jim Beam.

Hey guys. I tried this the other day and I've got to say it might be the worst Bourbon/ whiskey to date for me. It smells and tastes like cherry cough syrup. I even tried it with coke to no avail.

Am I alone in disliking this whiskey and is there anyone who actually prefers these artificially flavoured whiskeys?
 
Doesn't seem all that inviting to me, but I'd give it a try just to see how it tastes. I just hope JB isn't going the route of some of the Vodka distillers and starts offering "flavored" whiskys.
 
I once had a bottle of 'Spar' Vodka. It had, on the side, a list of Ingredients.

I remember it as clear as day.

Water (60%), Ethanol.

I also remember that it was surprisingly good.
