Red Ola razor hone?

Anyone ever hear of this? Is it an effective hone, to your knowledge? I know NOTHING about honing/hones. I'm a DE user myself. I won a vintage brush and straight razor combo on eBay and the seller threw this in at no cost.

(The straight razor I got with it is marked Griffon and looks like a 4/8 to me)

I have never heard of that hone but others may chime in on this.
Generally barber hones are used for "touching up" a razor's edge when it starts to pull when shaving.

The Griffon razor is a quality razor, usually a thin full hollow grind and the steel is a bit brittle.

I am always suprised at the amount of different barbers hones that show up!
