Very nice--I love that it still has the cardboard/heavy paper stock insert!
A few citrus/green "freshies" that I don't think I've seen in the list so far
Geoffrey Beene's Bowling Green
James Bronnley's Original (may be over $40 now-mine is old)
1881 Nina Cerutti*
Boucheron for Men*
*These two are on my long-term wish list- I don't own them...yet...
...and with the Christmas season almost upon us, has anyone mentioned Burberry London?
Sorry if these have all been previously mentioned and I absent mindedly skimmed past them, but they're all good enough to deserve more than one mention anyway, I suppose. Terrific thread- keep 'em coming!
Which Dunhill is that?I just received a bottle of Dunhill and this really reminds mit of a toned down Penhalligon's Sartorial @Owen Bawn
After the first 15min on the skin I like it. Lets see how this develops...
I hope this is the proper one, or did I get a flanker?Which Dunhill is that?
That's the proper one- the '1934' EdT. I really like it. Getting more difficult to find over the course of the past few weeks. Most of the grey market discount sites are out of it. And I think Dunhill have discontinued production.
i don't think it smells like Sartorial, but it is in a similar class to Sartorial. A wool flannel suit and polished shoes fragrance
I believe you referred to both the Dunhill and the Penhaligon's Sartorial as "boardroom fragrances."Well-said. That is definitely the Dunhill 1934.
Good memory. Thanks!)I believe you referred to both the Dunhill and the Penhaligon's Sartorial as "boardroom fragrances."
I've seen you post that on SOTD, and it got me thinking. B&B is not good for me.Another Lalique—Lalique pour Homme (Lion version)—is a really classy fougere-type scent that can be had for under $40. It’s becoming one of my favorites. The wife really likes it too.
You’ve been here almost 10 years and are just figuring this out now.B&B is not good for me.
