recommend someone to turn a wooden shaving bowl

Hey guys,
I am looking for someone experienced in woodworking to turn a wood shaving bowl for me, any recommendations out there?
I've already asked Rudy Vey but he said he does not turn bowls any longer.
Thanks

Bill

none that I know of, but if you do find one and he/she needs a quantity or more than what you need - I'll buy 1 or 2

Bill, are you looking for something special in a wood bowl? Reason I ask is because several vendors on the web, at least including Bullgoose, sell empty, wooden bowls. Forgotten the name of the bowl; think they cost around $10 each. Only thing I think I have noticed about them is that they seem to have straight sides and a flat bottom.

Used to have fun with Commander Yellow Pantyhose
Try the Granville Bowl Mill in Granville, VT. They are online, and some if their production bowls are appropriately sized for using as shaving bowls. Lots of wood and finish options. If you're ever up there, you should visit--the seconds and thirds they sell are awesome and way inexpensive.

Perhaps I have the wrong idea; think/thought you were looking for a bowl for shaving soap. Maybe you are looking for a bowl to lather in?

You could check with shaverjoe here at B&B. He has turned some bowls for soap. I would imagine he could turn you something. PM him and ask. Extremely nice guy.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

To be more specific, I am actually looking for a lidded bowl for soap storage, in wenge, that is similar or the same as the old acca kappa bowl. I would buy the old acca kappa bowl but it's no longer produced.
