Recommend a blade.

Hi guys.

I've tried a Feather - while it shaves very well and is like a laser thru the wiskers, it is too aggressive of a blade.
I was wondering if any of you could recommend a blade that is only a little less sharp, but has smoothness/forgivness to it.

Usually I use a 7 O'Clock Super Stainless.

Israeli Personna.. blue n white packaging..chrome and platinum coated..also try different razors with your blades to see which" blade n razor" combo works.

Ive found that the 7 O'clock yellows are almost as sharp as Feather but a little smoother and last several more shaves. Astra SP is my daily blade. Shaves smoothly while being sharp at half the price of yellows and third the price of Feather. Great value and quality blade. Give it a shot.

Personna Labs and Reds are good choices. Reds are really smooth and sharp but only last me 3 or 4 shaves. Labs are really sharp and almost smooth and last me 6 or more shaves.

gillette silver blue or polsilver ir's. astra sp are cheaper though and are good blades for some though im not a huge fan

Astras are cheap and very good. Lab blues would also be a very good choice.

I really like the PolSilvers as well, however Astras remind me very much of Feather blades in feel but a bit less aggressive. PolSilvers are a totally different feel, less aggressive imho.

OK, gonna try the PolSilver's and some 7 O'Clocks. I don't think Astras give me the best shave, but I'll try again with them.

Gillette Super Thins. Made by Gillette Shanghai for the Vietnamese market. They come in orange-red/white packaging. The numbers on the blade sometimes go up to 5.

The only blade besides Feathers that I've ever gotten a decent shave from.
