I received my G12 scuttle today and I could not be happier. I waited to shave until the post office had received the package. It arrived packaged in a box within a box. I am definitely hooked on a scuttle. Today, I tried shaving cream and tomorrow I will try some shave soap. It kept the lather hot for 3 passes. I was afraid that I should have looked for a scuttle with a lid but it is not necessary at all. I do not know how it compares to other sizes available from other potters but the G12 seems like the perfect size for me. The G20 would be huge. Please dont ask me to take pictures because I am not up to the quality of pictures that I see others provide. Happy shaving! David

I have a G20, and while I love it, it is big. The G12 looks great and may be a great comprimise for size.

Nice pick up! Was not aware of the G12. Had a look at the pics on GTP's sight, and it sure is a looker.
How did you order one? I can't find a way to order it on their site.

I ordered the G12 from Georgetown Pottery in Maine. It is not on their website yet so I did the old fashioned thing and telephoned them at 1-866-936-7687, because I could not wait any longer. I actually like to converse in person as often as I can when I purchase something. I am from a different generation where verbally talking with someone seems to be a lost form of communication. Just kidding!! I hope everyone has a great shave tomorrow and it will be a lot cooler weather where you live. David
OK, I had to use the &$&&# phone. She told me I'd be the first one on my block with the new scuttle.
