Has anyone had any of their older DE razors re-plated? Wondering how well they look and if you feel it makes a big difference. I know I've heard a few people praise Krona Kruiser about his work and would like to see some pics of re-plates if anyone has had it done. Thanks

I'll bet if you pasted your post's title in the B&B search box, you'd come up with exactly what you are looking for. I know there are numerous photos in the gallery. Happy hunting! BEFORE YOU COMMIT YOUR RAZOR TO BE RE-PLATED, ask about the business you are considering. There are a couple of absolutely notorious ones you will probably want to avoid. Enjoying a good reputation here are Krona Kruiser, and Reliable Electroplating. There are others in which you may be confident. Remember to ASK about the business before you send off your razor.

Is there a sticky or wiki for plating info? It would be extremely usefull for all of us guys considering it. Maybe a list of well reputed platers, their contact info, and pictures of their work. It seems like the questions come up so much that having one pool of information would be an excellent resource and save many of you knowledgeable folks from having to post the same info time and time again.
