Razorock Option Paralysis

Well, the title says it all. I want to get a stainless steel Razorock razor, but the multitude of options leave me not knowing what to choose. What would recommend for something mild, yet efficient, without much blade feel. For reference, lately I've been really enjoying my King C. Gillette head on RR Vintage Thickbar handle.

The MJ-90A (steel handle, aluminum head, though) is rather efficient without much blade feel. The Game Changer 68 is nice, but it’s less efficient than what you already have. I never used the Game Changer 76, but it’s said to be a step up.

I would put the Razorock GameChanger 68P at the same level of efficiency as what you have but a different feel of course. It is made of 316L marine grade stainless steel and CNC machined to very precise tolerances. I would put it as efficient as the Merkur 34c / EJ DE 89. It is mild with low blade feel.

If you want even less blade feel or practically no blade feel I would go with the Razorock Mamba 70 but I personally think the GameChanger 68 is a better shave (it has just enough blade feel to know what you are doing).

For what it's worth, I find the King C to have significantly less (almost nothing) blade feel than both of my EJ's (DE86 and Kelvin), yet markedly more efficiency. I don't know how that's possible, but that's how it works for me.

Use a Muhle R89 and a GC 68p. I like the GC a lot more, absolute effortless shaves, very comfortable and smooth. Even 2 days of stubble are no problem. Can only recommend, I liked it a lot more than the Mamba 70 which I have also had. The Mamba felt a lot rougher, noiser and more blade feel…. For me!

One vote for the Game Changer .76. It’s more efficient than the .68 but isn’t much harsher. I like the Lupo line as well, but it’s definitely more blade forward than the Game Changer.

The Game Changer .68 or .76 would be great options. The .68 has just a bit less blade feel than the .76, but both are pretty mild. While I like the .68 a bit more, the .76 might be a better starting point since it sits nicely in the middle between the .68 and .84.
