Razor & Brush Identification

I was given a brush and I inherited an old razor from my great grandfather, but can't really find any information on either online. Do any of you know where I could look to possibly find more info?

The razor needs to be cleaned up a little bit, but it clearly is made by Gillette. The brush was given to me about 3 years ago by my friends father who got me into wet shaving. I'm just not familiar with the brand... It's a super badger, made in England. It looks like the brand is CA(?) and has an underscore and possibly a third letter.... Let me know what ya'll think.

Razor is a ball end tech. No idea on the brush.

I see no date code on the Tech. That, with the oblong slots, would put it in the years '46 - '50.

Thanks for the info... At least now I'll have a place to start researching. I'll post the brush in the brush forum when I have time and see if it gets recognition there.
