Questions For Our UK Friends

[MOD: Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, feel free to move if its not]

I have several--possibly silly--questions for our friends "across the pond." Please excuse my ignorance. I've been asked to make a shaving video specifically for a UK-based grooming website and I don't want to stick my foot in my mouth. :blushing:

Boots: is their shaving soap stick, bowl, and lather shaving cream still available? Do they carry a cheap shaving brush? Prices? Available in all locations or just the larger ones? Are Boots very common or are they just in larger cities?

Wilkinson DE razor: Price? Where found?

Tessco: are there more Tessco stores than Boots stores? Any traditional shaving products there?

Approximate price for a 4-pack of Fusion cartridges, Wilkinson Hydro 5 cartridges, King Of Shaves cartridges?

Thank you in advance!

Not dumb questions at all!!

Boots still carry a shaving bowl, stick and cream, plus Palmolive products.

The prices are

Bowl - £2.80 (100g)
Refill - £1.99

Stick - £1.35 (50g)
Refill - £0.85 (50g)

Shave cream = £0.85 (125ml)

They carry the Men-U shaving brush range.

Boots stores are very common - every decently sized town seems to have one (as well as some smaller ones) and they are also seen at major train stations. The one at London Waterloo station is small and does carry at least the shaving stick and they also stock the Wilkinson DE razor and their own brand DE (similar to the Treets - tech head with a plastic handle which I much prefer to the Wilkinson)

Tesco is our biggest supermarket - it has the most stores in the land. They stock the Palmolive stick (about 48p!) and cream (about £1.89). They also stock the very cheap and cheerful Wilkinson brush but I have no idea how much it is!

Some of our department stores stock some decent traditional shaving products. John Lewis, which is well known in the UK stocks a good range of Kent brushes, an excellent own brand soap as well as Kent/MWF.

The Fusion blades are about £8, Azor ones about £5. The WS hydro is yet to reach these shores, but the WS quatro titanium blades sell for about £7. All prices for a pack of 4.

The Wilkinson DE can be bought in Boots for about £4. Not sure if it's available in Tesco. Both Boots, Tesco and other supermarkets stock DE blades. Generally only one brand.
