Question: adjustables and fixed razors

Is there a setting for an adjustable razor equivalent to how a fixed razor angle is always at ?

Is a number 1 setting angle on a Merkur adjustable the same as the angle that would be found on a Merkur HD ?

I would say that you would have to do a direct comparison between specific fixed heads and the particular adjustable. Not only is the blade exposure relevent but between brands and models there will be different head geometries. All of these factors will effect the shave so such a general statement is difficult to make.
