question about shaving

So I was wondering after you shave how long should you wait before you shave again?
I only ask cause i wait about four days and have a full beard. i'd like to shave a little before that
but Im not sure how soon is to soon. because i don't want to get razor burn on my face. Also
another question. Is it normal for a de user to have trouble shaving one side of the face better then the
other could it be because with the fusion you could lay it flat on either side of your face? and with the de your
holding it an a angle.

There are lots of people who can do it every day. But a lot depends on how fast the beard grows, how many passes you use and how your technique is. I would say for someone new to DE shaving that skipping one day would be good if you could. And it can be tricky to learn to use both hands for DE shaving, so shaving the same side as your dominant hand will probably be easier.

The only person in the whole world that can answer this question is you.

Now half as wise
The major cause of razor burn is pushing down, i.e. "too much pressure" and an angle that is too steep which causes more scraping. A lot of us shave every day, 3 passes (or more) and sometimes more than once a day if needed, without problems. But that's only after lots of practice and experience.

It takes time and effort to unlearn some of the bad habits we were used to, like pushing down harder to get just one more shave out of that $5 cartridge!

With only the occasional exception most will eventually get good close, irritation free shaves as often they need/want.

Needs milk and a bidet!
Ha, it's probably bad form but I use my dominant hand to shave both sides.
bad form? this is new to me. I've always shaved with one hand. My right hand. both sides. always. since my very first shave at age 14 to now at age 28. I am however trying to use both hands while learning to use a straight razor.

I enjoy shaving every day. I only skip a day when i'm just to lazy to shave. I'm one of those guys that makes my own set of rules when it comes to shaving.

I can see how it might be a problem doing that with straights. I should probably start at least trying to use both hands in case I want to pick them up someday.

I find waiting too long to actually be worse. Four days growth is a lot to mow down and really causes the razor to chatter. I try not to go longer than every other day, but when I'm not growing a beard. I prefer everyday, it feels better and less tugging on the razor.
