The mail lady dropped off some goodies today. One was a brush and the other a NOS Puma 89. The last pic is after a hand polish with Maas and a treatment of Renaissance Wax. I have been on the hunt for a nice one for a while now. The Puma Gold are just too expensive when are are in great shape.

Yeah I had an NOS 5/8 Puma Gold and wouldn't take it out of the wrapper even. If it was a 6/8 like it was supposed to be I would have been shaving with it as soon as I got it. Oh well I made someone else happy anyway.

If you clean it up with MAAS, do you worry about rubbing the etching away on the blade?

@ Isaac. I cleaned near the etching using a Q-tip with Maas so I was very controlled in my polishing not to fade the etching. I could have put a coat of nail polish on it to do my cleaning and removed it after as well.

Of all the razors I've tried Puma is at the top of the list. Congrats Scott.
