Proraso aloe and green tea shave cream

I saw this for the first time in a local drug store. Since I already have the Proraso in the green tube, I figured I'd try this one out. It has a distinctive scent, very pleasant and herbal to my nose. Like other Proraso shave creams, it goes on very well and is a pleasure to use.

It comes in a white tub, which is what drew my eye to the display.

Very nice stuff, give it a try if you haven't already.

Best,

Chris

I have purchased some Proraso aloe and green tea shave cream recently. As a matter of fact, I shaved with this stuff just today! :001_cool:

It is supposed to be for sensitive skin. So, it doesn't include eucalyptus oil or menthol in the ingredients list.
I found it to be very nice. Never tried Proraso green, but I like this Proraso white stuff. I bought also a tub of the Proraso white pre-shave with aloe and green tea. The two products are a very nice and refreshing combo.

Never tried Proraso green, but I have a somewhat sensitive skin and I never liked very much the "menthol kick" of some creams. But this stuff (both the cream and the pre-shave stuff) seems to have the right quantity of "mentholated" effect for me. :thumbup1:

I can't seem to make up my mind if I actually like this one or not...great cream for the price but I think the green one is better...I prefer a stronger menthol kick...

I like the white tub soap quite a bit. Some people don't like the smell. To me, it's slight, with a little coconut oil and barbershop scent to it.

Aside from their obvious smell differences, both seem to lather very well. If my nose was clogged, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two lathers !

I prefer the menthol kick of the Green but the Aloe & Green Tea has a very nice scent and it finds it way into my rotation more often than not. Lathers up quickly without any fuss just like the original.:thumbup1:

You can find it several places online, including Amazon, QEDUSA and Em's Place. I got it here Sesto-Senso"

I like the green tube and tub of Proraso, but they mildly irritate my face. This one doesn't, but has the other great shaving qualities. I believe it has some menthol in it, although possibly not as much as the green versions, and no eucalyptus. It does have a mild menthol cooling effect. I used it during last months "Menthol" shaving cream/soap theme.

Just to clarify....is this the aloe/green tea canned foam, soft soap, or is it a new product in the tube like classic Proraso?

Good question. The OP said "it comes in a white tub", so I believe he's talking about the soft soap in the white plastic tub.

Not in a tube, but in a white plastic tub/container. Its a soft soap or cream, maybe more of a cream than a soap, even softer than Cella.

I had not seen this one before, only seeing the more familiar green tub/container and/or tube.

The aloe and green tea was a new experience for me in Proraso, and a very pleasant, functional and solid all-rounder for me.

Here you go. Pictures tell a 1000 words.......lovely stuff, worth having in rotation. Whooops. Since this is technically soap, I posted in the wrong category, my apologies. Its so soft, I guess my thought was more along the cream line, but the label says that this is sapone....mea culpa, my fault.

Great pics, Chris. This is one of those soft "soaps" that has the same consistency as some of the "dense" creams. Whatever you call it, it's produces a great lather.
