Proraso after cream

The green psoraso cream in the glass jar , is this meant to be applied only after the shave and is it best to keep my face a little wet. I really like the soap and the cream.they have a great wake up effect on me.

The Proraso in the glass jar is really meant as a pre shave. I use this cream as a pre and post shave cream and I know a lot of other people use it as a post shave also because of the cooling effect and how good it leaves your face feeling after a shave. And yes the best way to apply it is to leave your face just a little damp, that way you can apply the cream evenly around your face.

I love proraso pre shave cream. I think it's better than any pre shave oil. Honestly! I know some people use it as post shave but it's not as good as a post shave product. If you want something to calm and moisturise your skin use a balm.

I am also taken with the proraso pre shave cream and find it much better than the oils I have tried - on my face at least. When I shaved DE I didn't see any need for a pre-shave, but since switching to straight it
has made life so much easier for me - I also find the menthol/eucalyptus hit a nice fresh wake-up experience in the mornings.

I don't use it as a pre-shave - has almost zero effect on my beard. It does however, work fantastic as a post-shave balm for me when paired with Proraso soap or cream. A little can go a long way. My jar is about six months old and it's still 85-90% full.

I have both Proraso Green and White Pre/Post shave cream and I also have 3P and Prep Pre/Post shave cream. They are all from Italy each with a long history. I use them a Pre and Post shave cream which I find improves the comfort of my shave. In terms of the difference which I prefer I will rate the 3P and Prep as both 5 stars and I give both Proraso's a 3 1/2 maybe 4 stars. The difference is the texture and how each absorbs into the skin. The both Proraso are very waxy almost like a candle. It takes a while for it to be absorbed into the skin and it will begin to dry leaving a white residue on your face. 3P is probably my favorite it is very creamy but not wet. It absorbs easily into the skin with a cooling sensation. It also provides soothing relief after you shave and I like to follow it up with an RR aftershave wax or Saint Charles aftershave lotion. I do not rinse my face prior to applying the lotion or wax. Prep has just a slightly thicker texture than 3P but it to absorbs into the skin easily and with a cooling sensation. I would highly recommend trying these two Italian products especially if your a fan of Proraso Pre/Post shave cream.

you can't possibly be using it daily at that rate? that means a jar would last you 3-5 years :bored:

i love it as Preshave, seems to work well with my face. i finish with a splash & 444

Probably the best piece in my den, overall. Use it as both a pre and post (after the splash dries). Also extinguishes razor burn quickly as well
