Why the difference in cost of Trumpers vs.Taylors? Are the ingredients similar?

Trumpers is a little spend-yer, but both are solid performers. Trumpers Coconut and Taylors St. James are my favorites from each brand and are excellent creams.
What I noticed about creams:
T&H for example is twice the price of TOBS...it's also twice as thick.

Do you notice you use half as much T&H as you to TOBS?
Trumpers is not even in the same league as TOBS.
Trumpers
Pros:
Lathers well.
Has Lavender and Rose scented creams.
Cons
Scents not as strong as you'd expect for a cream this price.
TOBS
Pros:
Lathers well.
Has Uniquely manly scents (Mr. Taylors, Shave Shop, way more "British" than Trumpers)
Cons:
Lathers well, not as plush as Trumpers maybe.
Trumpers
Pros:
Lathers well.
