Possible to accurately date a 1945 Gillette safety razor?

From what I've read on the wiki about the Gillette safety razors from 1945, the only razor Gillette made in 1945 was the 3 piece Tech (please correct me if I'm wrong). The Aristocrat and Milord started in 1941, stopped from 1942 to 1945, then restarted in 1946.

All that said, it seems that dating for the 3 piece Tech from 1938 to 1945 is somewhat difficult.

So my question is, is it possible to definitively say that you have a Gillette Tech made in 1945 or can you only say that you have a Gillette Tech made somewhere between 1938 and 1945?

Well, if you got it NOS as part of a set, the accompanying blades are an excellent indicator. If not, you're confined to a year group range.

Right, you would need to find a Tech with original blades. Achim has a couple of examples:

Even that is no guarantee: the razor might not have been manufactured at the same time as the blades. But it would be plausible, and that is usually enough for us.
