Plisson 12 Tortise Shell Euro Grey

I thought I was heading down a path that would result in the ownership of two types of brushes: Simpsons and vintage restores of cool/unique handles.

And then I saw the brush for sale on BST and bought it.

I've hand lathered twice and enjoyed the results immensely. The bloom is amazing and I've admired it each time we've crossed paths in the den.

I really can't wait for the morning to arrive so that I can finally do a face lather and shave!

I'll be sure to get some additional pictures so that the beauty of this brush gets appreciated.

Oh, and I'm eagerly awaiting for the Simpson Pre-Vulfix X3 to arrive because I am a Simpson man after all. :)

Great face lathering experience with this brush. It is the largest brush I own in terms of spread and coverage on my face. It also has the scrubbiest feeling but I attribute that to not being broken in.

I think this brush will get better and better. I'm going to test it tomorrow with MWF to see how it handles a soap.

I love the handle. It looks great, is a great shape for my hand and has a nice heft to it too!

First soap in the am will be the sample lavender from Benton Clay.
