pimples on forehead?

long story short - I wash my face with Noxzema before bed every night and use Neutrogena Revitalizing Face wash in the morning. Still have pimples on my forehead. Never had acne.

Ideas to get rid of them?

You may want to try this simple solution...

Wash with a mild soap and then apply Alum, before bed.

maybe wash your face in the morning and then after work.

I shoot for every 12 hours.

if you wash it before you go to bed and then wash it when you wake up that seems like it's too soon, I mean your face probably isn't getting dirty while you sleep.

@ all: I'll probably take the average of your three solutions - lay off a few days then probably do the alum+soap thing.

I'm 41 and still suffer from occasional pimplage. :-(
I use an alum bar, squirt non-alcoholic witch hazel on it and rub into my hands, then wipe my face with it. Seems to help quite a bit.

I had that as well, I started applying a moisturiser and it seems to fix that. Looks like my skin was too dry so all the glands were working like crazy making oils. If you still decide to cleans, make sure you apply a moisturiser after them. You might have to experiment with different weights to see what suits your skin.

I would second the "lay off the stuff" treatment. I found that using harsh cleansers caused my skin to overcompensate. Using Cetaphil once or twice a week now is all I need to keep my skin clear.

what about your hair?

do you have bangs or does it hang and touch your forehead?

If so, try a style that keeps the hair off your forehead.

Many adult women get acne on the forehead or cheeks from the hair touching and aggrevating it. Very simple solution.

I have the same problem starting every spring.... it's from my bicycle helmet. Haven't really found a good solution to date and have tried a few of the solutions mentioned above to no avail. No bicycle helmet seems to be the only thing that works, so I just put up with it till off-season and it goes away.

good luck

I stopped getting pimples once i stopped buying stuff from the acne isle.

Quality soap and lotion is all i need.

Well I already pass with this problem. I can imagine how this makes you feel.I think this product does not match with your skin. you have change the product. As my view the natural product is good for it. And of course You avoid from facial.

Desdinova - The hair's a little bit long. I'm going to the barber tomorrow anyway so I'll ask him to fix that.

Do you ever wear hats (baseball caps or otherwise)? Sometimes hats can irritate the skin, and/or rub dirt/sweat on your forehead if the hat isn't particularly clean.
