pilot 78g o-ring size

I couldn't find the o-ring size or type anywhere but I'm no internets expert. I only need one so if it is something I can pick up at Lowes or you have an extra you are willing to sell that would be great. The pen should be here in a few days.

I'm guessing that you want an O-ring because you want to use this as an eyedropper filler, is that correct?

Although you may have seen information on doing this for the very inexpensive Platinum Preppy, it's not needed for every eyedropper filled pen. Just try some pure silicone grease on the threads. It works with, for example, Kaweco Sports.

If you do want to experiment with putting an O-ring on there, I would say just get a cheap assortment of small ones at a hardware store, and use whatever size is the best fit. The ones that Goulet's uses with the Preppies stretch a bit to fit on there.

If I'm wrong about why you want the O-ring, then never mind, but it's all I could think of.

Nope that was it, thank you. I thought someone advised me to get an o-ring but I could be wrong. Ill give it a shot when it gets here.

IIRC, the 78G does not close well with an o-ring, and does well just with silicone grease.
