PIF to Newbie! Like-New Ever-Ready Brush and Palmolive Shave Stick!

PIF Completed - went to a new lady wetshaver! To be PIF'd to a newbie due to the generousity of member Mixed Motives (who paid to have this lot PIF'd, proving, of course, that I'm just an old cheapskate! Thanks buddy!) is a like-new Ever-Ready C-40 (boar bristles) that is close to break-in and a new stick of Palmolive EU. You must be new to wet shaving and need gear. If you are the first certified newbie (we're gonna say you've got to have less than 10 posts in your ticker) you will get this lot FREE FREE FREE! Welcome to B&B!

I'd like to throw my name in for consideration. I'm not entirely new to wet shaving, just new to all these fine products. Used a Williams bar/puck for years and an old brush. Starting to experiment with other brushes and other soaps. I'll stop there and let the selection begin.

Either way, a very nice gesture.

So.. I'm about as new as it gets.

Here's my back story: "Baaaby... I would like THIS for Father's Day!" This, is a long Amazon Wish list of shaving shenannigans. Really? All I got was breakfast. Fine, I love you, here's my credit card.

Since then? There is no stopping him.. now he's got me into this. By got me into it.. I mean I would sneak into his new blade stash and use his razor. I'm now looking to get my own gear. I have tried regular shave gel.. but, honestly, it sucks. It gets stuck in the razor and is a nightmare to get out. His brush looks like it would work great but I'm not going to use his brush on my shave areas.

I'm loving this new lifestyle and thank you for any advice you may all have.

OK, gentlemen, who can resist givin' this lady some love? She's the first to meet the criteria - and she's got a great story! Yenisjen, I have sent you a Private Message, please respond to the PM. If you haven't responded to a PM before, ask your lug and he should be able to at least show you how to answer. Best wishes and we hope to hear from you again!

Thank you! I'm really looking forward to PIF someday soon. I've zeroed in on a longer handled Parker razor as my starter & my lug said it should be here any day. :)

Excellent PIF, flutewhistler...very generous! And congratulations to the lucky lady. I think you'll be quite happy with this brush!

Our own member Mixed Motives gets the credit for this one - he bought the package from me off the B/S/T and asked me to PIF it. I threw in a couple packages of blades, and now we have a very happy lady shaver in our midst. Goodness abounds!

Just seeing this PIF. Nice job! The thing that strikes me is the condition of the knot. It looks like a new Semogue knot. I thought I had a nearly new or NOS ER 100 (same color scheme handle), but it never looked as fresh as that knot. Again, nice PIF!
