Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

A surprise in the mailbox today from Garry's Sample Shop - little label says "Pen's B.B" - a 1/4 oz of Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet!

A touch of lemon and lavender, with maybe a little pine - a lemon verbena type scent - very clean and fresh.

I'll share my thoughts once my whiskers are ready for a shave...

Have any of you tried Pen's?

I'm using it right now, started a couple days ago and hope to use until its done, but I am having an irritation issue.

I am going to try a different AS and see if it goes away.

Easy to lather, thick and slick and smells great.

Here is hoping it's the AS causing the irritstion and not the BB cream.

Wow.

I should set this up for you all - just finished my full unicot honing on my first La Grise coticule, on a Genco razor that I just rescaled - so everything is dialed in. I whip up some warm lather with the Penhaligon's Blenhein Bouquet and get the best shave yet.

Can I credit the Pen's for the full experience - no - but it is a damn fine compliment to a freshly coticule honed razor. This stuff is really slick, pleasant light scent - refreshing, but not energetic or over the top, and lathers very well. Finished with Pinaud Citrus Musk that paired very well with citrus already established with the Pen's.

Definitely worth a try if you haven't already - hopefully Garry plans to have some more samples.

One of my absolute favourites. I am about 3 shaves away from finishing my 1st tube of it and have the tub waiting for when that happens. It really does turn a shave into a luxurious experience.

Used it today for the 3rd or 4th time. The glass jar is 1st class and the cream is very good. Nice smell, lathers easily and has good lubrication.
It's my favorite after Trumpers coconut and sandalwood creams.

good news. today's shave was much better with a different AS. i think my issue for the past few says was the Boosters Mosswood.

another great lather and shave, but this time no irritation after effects.

I love Pen's creams. They're great performers and smell soooooo good. Personally, I prefer the Endymion, but Blenheim is no slouch.
