Para-cord!

The latest addiction of mine to foil the wifes attempt at quality time. I'm pretty sure she's about to accept defeat!

I gave a couple hundred feet in different colors to a granddaughter and showed her youtube links to make bracelets and lanyards. She thought it was pretty cool. I use it to tie off stuff in the pool when I close it for winter. I've also used it as lawnmower pull cord.

I believe it varies by type and the number of threads in the core. Most of what I've used is pretty strong... would hold down a minimum of 100kgs without breaking.

sounds handy

OK Jim, but remember, I'm just getting started. I wrapped the handle of my hiking staff and a section of my flashlight.

I would not wear any para cord bracelets. In the event you are in fire, I know small chance, it melts to the skin instead of burning. I do not know if any of you have had melting para cord drop/stick to you....it really does hurt and is not much fun.
