paid to drink

On this last Wednesday I got a very unique volunteer opportunity. Instead of showing up to the shop at 0730 for work I showed up at the Security Forces training center on base at 0800 to help them with...wait for it...field sobriety test training. yes, I got paid to drink Tagueray and juice. lots of it. Then test new cop's abilities to guess my BAC and perform Field sobriety tests. It was a good work day.
I love my job

and for those of you in the know....yes that is an AADD red cup

LOL, I don't remember the last time I tried to get drunk at 8:00 in the morning. Did they let you go home and sleep it off? Were they able to accurately guess your BAC? How drunk did you get?

well I had four doubles. which would have me normally about low to mid buzz. this early in the morning though it had me rightly drunk. There were four of us and they put us at different levels of intoxication. and yeah my buddy drove me home...with a quick stop for tacos, and I slept the rest of the day.
