Did I get lucky
? Been talking to a guy about DE razors lately, he had no knowledge of them and brought several items that was his grandfathers for me to look at. When I saw this pulled my eyes popped out I think, I also had no knowledge of this razor but thought it was very nice and a great piece. Asked him to sell it to me and he didnt want to sell, after a long time and more $$$ I now own this beauty.
Immediately my research began and I seen this was a very hard razor to get information on.Think I have read most of the post here about the FASAN open comb slant, but still have located nothing about this model on the site. I realize more guys are very knowledgeable about this razor and I ask for any and all input for this beauty.
One thing Ihave noticed is the fact some say FASAN translate to pheasant and notice the label and logo on the bottom of this case to see it. Also notice the model number and I believe the handwritten price of 9.25 Marks? I have not even wiped or cleaned this razor or box in anyway yet, so the pictures are the way it arrived after being stashed away for many years.
Is anybody else thinking about the two unopened Gillette super blue blades as a clue to dating this as I am? The total weight of razor 51.8 grams.
