Optics Planet Request a Deal Offer

This may need to be moved to the Shopping section, but since it's so specific I wasn't sure, so I posted here. Forgive me if it's a mistake!

I received an email from Optics Planet, which is a big online store for tons of shooting gear, mainly optics but they stock a wide range of items. I've used them before and they are a reputable store. This email said that they have a "Request Your Own Deal" offer that after trying it out I found out that it is an always available offer that doesn't expire.

It's fairly simple, shop for a product you're interested in and take note of its Product Code.
Then either call (877-568-2032) or Live Chat and tell them "I'm requesting a deal". They will offer a discount on the specific item you want, and can take the order for you if you wish.

I tried this out, and was offered 5-6% off depending on the item. But apparently the amount can be as much as 20%.

I used this offer to buy my Trijicon ACOG. I had to wait a couple of months to receive it as the scope is popular right now, but the deal made it well worth it. The price of the optic went up while I was waiting , but my price was locked in. Take advantage of this deal if you are in the market for something. You should look into it's availability if you need it right now though.
