Hello everyone! I was sitting around the other day and was wondering how B&B members feel about wetshaving for those individuals who aren't able to grow magnificent beards. Do you think wetshaving is unnecessary for those who only have mustaches and/or goatees? Or is wetshaving completely appropriate for any given situation of facial hair? Thank you in advance for your responses :biggrin1:

I would say go for it. I have no mustache, goatee, nothing. I shave my whole face. I would say if your face grows hair on it then shave it. How you shave it and what you shave is up to you. But wet shaving is fun, pampering, and totally appropriate to all men who have facial hair that grows on their face. But that's just me. :) Good luck.

I used to wear a full beard, but even so, I always shaved a portion of my cheeks and neck to have a well kept appearance rathet than scruffy. Then my beard turned gray, and made me look older than my years. So off it came, mostly. I wear a salt and pepper goatee now. So I have more face to shave...but the point is that I've always shaved something, and always was a wet shaver.

I don't grow the "fullest" of beards. My chin is a little more lacking than I'd like (I always wanted to rock a goatee =/). But it grows in and has to be dealt with. If it has to be dealt with, why not do it in a more comfortable, enjoyable, and just flat out, fun way?

Its funny but I just watched a video of a woman in Japan get a wet shave and she had no facial hair at all but peach fuzz. Go for it! you will enjoy the time you take no matter what you are removing, unless its your nose or ear.

Thank you for all the responses! I feel justified in my overindulgence in shaving, even with my light facial features
