Opinion on Kai Blades

Does anyone know anything about Kai blades? They cost a pretty penny from what I've seen. Are they worth the cost?

I have a sample of them that I have yet to try. I have read on the forums that they are a small step down from feathers.

Kai blades are nice and smooth. IMO...just like a feather except that the blades have absolutely no markings or identification on them. Maybe Kai blades are Feathers and are used primarily for lab work in Asia like the Personna Labs in North America. After the tragedy of the Tsunami in Japan, I think that the facility was non operational due to extensive damage, not including human life.

That could be the reason Kai blades are pricey and scarce.....who knows for sure?
