Open Comb tooth question

I found a beat up single ring at a local secondhand shop. I would get it replated so the finish doesn't really concern me but it has a bent corner tooth. It is pushed towards the second tooth but is not displaced either up or down. My question is should this be a worry? Should it be straightened? Is there a way to straighten it? Would you just leave it or buy and enjoy?

Whether I would buy it depends on the price. If the corner tooth is not bent so much that the corner of the blade is hanging out there, it will probably shave OK. Given that you can get razors without bent teeth, unless the price was really good, I would look elsewhere, but that is just me.

Pics would be nice.. Most teeth bends aren't fixable.. Once the metal stretches it can go back exactly in place and may break off during rebend.. Prob still useable depending on the pic?

If it shaves OK I just would leave it as is.
I have read of several people here on the forum who broke those teeth off when trying to bend back. When bending cold brass it gets brittle, and without re-heating it is very risky to bend it back. I wouldn't take the risk.

I wouldn't spend $$ for a replate of a razor with a bent tooth like that. Keep looking. There are lots of good Old Types and other vintage razors out there.

Sorry, I guess I was a bit distracted when responding before...

If its edge tooth is not bent up towards the head plate I would probably buy it if the rest of the razor doesn't look disgusting. No shipping cost may be a big plus here. but I would not invest a lot of time and money to straighten the tooth, and I would not replate a razor with a bent tooth.
