so i only started this sport two weeks ago with an omega stripey which i thought was a really nice brush, and it is. but i received my penwork FB2-22 today and now i get it. i am so glad that BAD kicked in early because if i had gone six months and got this i would have been real upset at having wasted all that time. gorgeous, sucks up water like a sham wow, dense, soft and plush with a really nice backbone to it. moral to this story is go ahead and cave in to your BAD. wish he hadnt delivered it in two days thats almost instant gratification. good thing the stripey came with a nice stand and plastic cover to go immediately to travel brush status.

I bought the same brush and had the same response. I really makes wet shaving something special when you get to use such nice tools. I also have the stripey, but I like it! I have a Simpson that I will end up trading for a Penworks. Congrats!

sorry if i made it sound like i did not like the stripey because i definitely do, especially the size. i will post a pic of the new one when i figure out how to do it.
