Online pipe tobacco

Does anyone have a website they frequent for tobacco purchases?

My wife purchased a Stanwell pipe for me a few years ago and I've been meaning to try it out ever since then. I'm wanting to try "half and half tobacco" because that's what my great uncle used, but the tobacco store near me (and I'm in the middle of no where) has odd hours and the groceries don't carry it.

SmokingPipes.com and PipesAndCigars.com are both excelent. The Pipes and Cigars Website isn't the best out there but the servce is good. I have not bought from them yet but have heard good things about 4noggins.com as well.

My favorite online tobacco vendor is Rich at 4noggins.com. He offers fair pricing and great customer service. I've also ordered from smokingpipes.com and I would recommend them as well; I just prefer the personal service Rich provides.

My favorite pipe tobaccos come out of the McClelland Tobacco company, you may want to give them a try. Their Aurora Virginia blend is divine.:thumbup1:

I would also recommend the tobaccos of Gregory L. Pease, one of our members who doesn't post enough!

I'll second Marscigars.com, Mike really goes to extra work to make certain everything is right. He can often order tobaccos that aren't on his website, too.

http://www.cupojoes.com/ has always been good, and it's hard to beat the folks at Pease and at Cornell & Diehl.

If you want Escudo, jrcigars.com usually has the best price, but they are a cigar shop and don't carry a wide selection of pipe tobaccos.

Just to update you....

I ordered from Marscigars...they were a few bucks cheaper on the shipping. I got a pouch of Half & Half and a tin of McClelland's Aurora.

Hey Ouch, it's nice to see a Pease fan on the forums. G.L. Pease is the blender of my absolute favorite pipe tobacco: Westminster. It's an English blend that happens to be better than anything I was ever able to get hold of in England itself. I'm sure you know of it. What do you like from Pease?
You said he's a member of B&B? That's absolutely wonderful. He's a celebrity to my mind.

He also holds the record for the fastest ever custom title.

I'm a big Charing Cross fan.

JR Cigar (jrcigars.com) has some great prices on their pipe tobacco selection. It's not as extensive as some places, but I just dropped a small fortune on some McClellands and Cornell & Deihl blends to restock my tobacco stash and thought he prices were pretty good.

Funny you say that - I thought about editing my post almost immediately to say that same thing and link to the original thread, but work became instantly insane and I never got back to it. It's a good thing you were here to back me up!
