What's new

omg I'm addicted to Pinaud Bay Rum!

Just a few moments ago I splashed on a rather large volume of it on myself for the 3rd time this morning. I love the smell, subtle orange, spices... with a strong Clove note. God I love this smell more than my giagonormously expensive Emporium Armani cologne. dang... I wear Bay Rum with great gusto I must say. Did I say I am making my own Bay Rum as well? I got the recipe from the art of manliness website. The spices oils change with the sweat to create a unique pleasant odour. I'm doing curtilage work at the moment, so it's definitely active. I've got a major case of "I love smelling myself to an obscene amount" going on as well. lmao :thumbup:

Are you using West Indian bay, or are you using bay laurel? One is a food flavor, one is a scent-only item. If you're using bay laurel, you know that it's not a "true" Bay Rum, right?

</pedant>

Regardless, good on you!:thumbup1:

Don't be too hard on yourself, I haven't found anywhere online to but West Indian Bay leaves:thumbdown, just one place to buy the oil. I've been looking for months. But, do let us know how it turns out! After all, I'm in the beginnings of an AD for Bay Rum AS(B|L) and cologne.

MMMmmmm.... Bay rum! :drool:

Nice, sunny day here. On a whim, I dug out a Hawiian shirt and a straw hat, just to say hello to Spring.

Splashed on the Pinaud Bay Rum after my shave and used some Bigelow Bay Rum cologne. The lady cutting my hair later in the day gave the scent a positive review.

I'm always undecided if Bay Rum is more of a warm or cold weather scent, but I like it almost year round.

I really liked the Pinaud Bay Rum 'till I found Masters Bay Rum. Now I just roll out the Pinaud if I need the burn.

Actually I think a mix of the two might be nice.
