Old Spice Mug

i don't think there's anything stupid about it. It might not be as easy to lather with a cream in a container with a flat bottom and sides though . . . I use a big cappucinno style mug to lather in. But I can't think of any reason why you can't lather in an old spice mug. Does it work? Have you tried it? If so . . . go for it :)

I found my old spice mug too small for whipping up lather because my hard water makes me lather challenged. I leave the old spice mug on my dresser for loose coin and picked up a G5 scuttle for lather.

The mug is designed to hold soap in, not for creating lather. But use it as you wish.
I realized that after I bought one. It's definitely smaller in person than it appears to be in pictures. Not sorry I bought one as it looks good on top of my dresser with my razor, brush and scuttle.

The mug I kept from my father is marked "made in Belgium" and currently houses Tabac soap that was grated and pressed from a shave stick.

I purchased another 1980's era mug to house some 1980's vintage Old Spice soap.

I bought an early style 1940's mug, and that now sits on display with my old lotion, cologne and talc bottles, holding a bunch of DE razors.

When my two sons start shaving, they'll each get one of those mugs.
